Social performance reflects REGENT’s broader communications efforts. HullHouse does not attribute audience growth or financing to video production alone.
The story
REGENT is building Seagliders: a new mode of transportation that combines the speed of an aircraft with the operational advantages of a maritime vessel.
Building something fundamentally new creates a communications problem. The company’s story changes almost as quickly as the technology.
For more than 18 months, HullHouse has worked alongside REGENT to document and communicate that progress across testing, executive communications, defense, recruiting, social media and major company milestones. During that period, REGENT announced a $240 million Series B.
The relationship became the foundation for what HullHouse now calls Video Infrastructure: an ongoing system for capturing, organizing and communicating progress, instead of treating every video as an isolated project.

The milestones
A Seaglider operates in three modes. HullHouse documented the program through each one, building a library that grew with every test.
Float
Sea trials from March 2025
Paladin, REGENT’s full-scale Viceroy prototype, goes to sea on its hull: charging, checklists, control surfaces and the crew procedures that would shape every test after.
Foil
June 17, 2025
The maiden foil. For the first time the prototype lifts out of the water onto its hydrofoils, with the full flight-control system holding it steady.
Fly
September 2, 2026
The world’s first human-crewed Seaglider flight over Narragansett Bay, told by the team who built it.
The challenge
A major test moves with the weather. An engineering milestone suddenly matters to customers or investors. A government demonstration creates an immediate communications need. An executive presentation needs new material within days.
Each audience needs a different version of the same story:
Treating each of those needs as a separate video project creates duplication, consumes executive and engineering time, and risks missing moments that can’t be recreated. REGENT needed a production partner that could operate inside that environment.
The approach
HullHouse became an ongoing production partner embedded alongside REGENT’s communications team. Over time, that relationship built institutional knowledge: REGENT’s technology, terminology, leadership, people, testing program, facilities, defense applications and larger company story.
That context changes the production process. A new assignment doesn’t begin with weeks of discovery. Sometimes it begins with one line: This is happening. These people need to understand it.
A testing day captured for an immediate update may later support social content, recruiting, defense communications, investor presentations, conference material and a future milestone film. An executive interview recorded for one presentation may answer a different need six months later.
The question changes from “What footage do we need for this video?” to “What should we capture while we have access to this moment?”
Larger pillar stories are planned against a rolling roadmap of milestones and audiences. When something unexpected happens, it’s handled either as additional work or by shifting capacity and moving a planned piece further down the roadmap. The structure adds flexibility instead of removing it.
The work
Testing, demonstrations, vehicle development and major company events, often captured around fast-changing operational schedules. The goal is to preserve proof of progress while the moment is happening.
Testing footage, interviews, manufacturing imagery and historical material combined to explain what REGENT is building, why it matters and how far the company has come.
Presentations, company updates, announcements, conference content and scripted communications that help leadership translate complex technical progress for any audience.
Technical and story-driven content for government and defense audiences, including documentation connected to work with the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory. One piece documents exactly what happened. Another explains why it matters.
The engineers, operators and leaders behind REGENT, documented for recruiting, culture and the human story behind the technology.
A steady supply of authentic material for REGENT’s channels, drawn from the same library instead of a separate production process: testing, engineering, manufacturing, people, executives and milestones.
The outcome
During the relationship, REGENT’s technology advanced, testing accelerated, defense applications expanded, the organization grew and its audience grew. In August 2026, REGENT announced a $240 million Series B.
Days later, on September 2, 2026, the program reached the milestone everything had been building toward: the world’s first human-crewed Seaglider flight, made by Paladin, REGENT’s full-scale Viceroy prototype, over Narragansett Bay. Because HullHouse had documented the program from float to foil, the team was already in place to capture flight day from the inside, told by the people who built it.
HullHouse provided ongoing visual storytelling throughout that period. The financing shouldn’t be attributed to any single communications effort. What the relationship shows is broader: when a company moves quickly, its ability to communicate progress has to move with it.
After more than 18 months, a new REGENT assignment doesn’t start from zero. There’s context, history, trust, an established visual language and a growing media library that becomes more valuable with every production.
